The green-painted wooden cladding of the cottage blends naturally with the local environment and with the adjacent Armstrong Cottages, a traditional listed building which combines with the modern built Swallows Nest effortlessly and to appealing effect.
The cottage has three bedrooms; two double and one with four single beds, together accommodating up to 8 persons in comfort. The large open-plan sitting room presents the ideal haven for relaxation with friends and family. Sitting room features include two three-seater sofas and two armchairs, a coffee table, open log fire with slate hearth, toy box, television, video, DVD and CD player.

The dining room is spacious enough too for lively dining and family gatherings around the large solid wood table. Through French windows lies the fully enclosed gardens and timber deck, on which additional outdoor lounge and dining opportunities are available. Guests can make full use of the Calor gas barbeque when the sun shines.
The kitchen within the cottage is fully equipped with modern Bosch appliances and quality crockery and cutlery. Included are a microwave, fridge and freezer, washer dryer, dishwasher, electric cooker and hob, set within a granite work surface. Two bathrooms, one on each floor, and private parking for up to three cars are additional features. The village itself with all associated amenities, pubs and attractions is less than a mile away.
