The quiet Village of Rothbury, is wonderfully located close to some of the best attractions in Northumberland, but also has plenty to offer itself, particularly the breathtaking scenery and peaceful riverside walks.
There are a host of stately homes and historic castles to visit in the area, and some of the most stunning coastlines in the country.
Areas that may be of particular interest include the National trust property of Cragside, Lady's Well at Holystone, the ruins of Harbottle Castle, and the imposing Brinkburn Priory.

Cragside, which is within walking distance from the cottage, is home to the magnificent Cragside House, once home of industrialist William, Lord Armstrong. There are over over 40 miles of footpaths in this 1000 mile estate. The scenery is ever changing and spectacular!
This 2 bedroom Cottage, 1 double and 1 twin, is situated in its own 2 acre walled garden, complete with wood, maze, medicine wheel, leys, wild areas, and pond. Car parking facilities are also available.

Facilities include a porch, leading through the sitting/dining room, a bathroom/toilet with shower and a small, well-equipped kitchen.
Rates are charged at:
