The cottages' location makes them the ideal base from which to explore the wonderful surrounding countryside. Whether you take a walk along the historic Hadrian's Wall or trek around the miles of nature reserve, outdoor enthusiasts will love the amazing open spaces just a stone's throw away from this Northumberland holiday cottage.

Carlisle and Newcastle are easily accessible by rail or road, and are well worth a visit.

All three cottages are tastefully decorated, creating a modern decor that is respectful of the buildings' rich heritage. This mix of antiques and modern furnishings is designed to create the most welcoming atmosphere possible.

- Washing machine (Middle Cottage's machine is in drying room)
- Drying room. Including: tumble drier, sink, clothes airer and boot-rack

- Welcome basket including local produce
- Honesty freezer containing locally made dishes

The cottages can be rented individually or you could hire two or three at a time if you a planning a break with family or friends.
You can arrive or leave on any day, as we offer short breaks with a minimum stay of 3 nights. We provide B&B on a one night stay.
