Nestled at the foot of the cheviots, near the small, picturesque village of Alnwinton, are the Low Alwinton cottages. There are 4 lovely cottages to choose from, all with their own unique features and garden area, surrounded by the breathtaking, un-spoilt, Northumberland countryside.
All of the Low Alwinton cottages have their own gardens with lawns and fruit trees and outdoor furniture. A complimentary basket of logs is provided at each of the cottage, there is a charge for additional baskets. A payphone is available on site for guests use. There is ample parking space at all of the cottages. The Cottages and their facilities are explained below.
Byre Cottage - Sleeps 6
A spacious living/dining area complete with a multi fuel stove and conservatory. The fitted kitchen has all modern appliances such as electric cooker, Dishwasher, Auto/Washer, fridge, microwave.
Bedrooms comprise of a double bedroom with four poster bed. Twin bedded room and an adult bunk room. Bathroom with an electric shower over the bath.

Reivers Cottage – Sleeps 4
This warm, cosy Scandinavian log cabin consists of double and twin bedded rooms, bathroom and toilet, a lounge with colour TV and video, diner area with wood burning stove.
The kitchen area complete with fridges, microwave and an electric cooker. Guests have use of a laundry area.

Coquet Cottage – Sleeps 6
Wonderful, 200 year old character property with beamed ceilings, comprising of double and twin bedrooms and a double sofa bed.
Fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridge and microwave. Large dining room area and lounge with colour TV /video, both with open fires. Fully Fitted bathroom/WC.

Cheviot Cottage – Sleeps 4
Comprises of two bedrooms, one luxuriously fitted double bedroom and a twin room. Bathroom/WC with bath and separate shower. Lounge with colour TV/video and electric, coal-effect fire.
Fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave and a utility room with washing machine.
