Julian Negrut's local fruit & veg delivery service JuliansVeg has gone from strength to strength since it was established in 2008.
After six years of selling locally grown fruit and vegetables at monthly farmers' markets and food festivals, Julian realised that there was a real demand for local food.
He decided to set up his delivery service after his customers commented that they would like to be able to buy local produce on a more regular basis rather than only at the monthly farmers' markets.
"People want to know where their food comes from these days. Buying local means you're not only doing your bit for the environment by reducing the food miles on your weekly shopping, but you’re helping the local economy too."
