The Gibbs Hill Farm group of holiday cottages comprise 3 tastefully converted former farm buildings conveniently located near Hadrian’s Wall in Hexham in the North East of England. They provide self catering accommodation for groups of 4-6 people each and are available for rent on a weekly Friday to Friday basis throughout the year.
Each cottage has been converted from former stone farm buildings to an extremely high standard. The group are rated 4 star by the English Tourist Council and they were deserving finalists in the North East England Tourism Awards 2007.
Each cottage is individual in it’s own right, but they have share some charming attributes – all are built of stone, have wood burning log fires and are set in an area of outstanding beauty. They are also individually centrally heated and come equipped with:
- Cooker
- Fridge/freezer
- Microwave
- Colour tv and video
- Access to laundry facilities
The cottage tariffs range from £240 for the week for the smallest cottage “Felbridge” during low season rising to £340 for the week during the summer months. The larger “Felbrook” unit is available for £380 to £600 depending on season which represents good value accommodating 6 persons.
